The Bulls Masters clenched a narrow five run victory over the All Stars cricket side in the cricket – super 8s exhibition match at the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games yesterday afternoon.

The tournament’s eight best bowlers and batsmen rose to the challenge of chasing 3/140 as the Games drew to a close after a week of competition.

However the Bulls Masters proved too good for the side despite powerhouse All Star Dion Bryant hitting two sixes off cricket superstar Jimmy Maher’s bowling.

“It’s great for them to come down and give their time and have a game against us,” Bryant said.

“He looked after me, he tossed them up nicely and they came off really well.”

Despite the legendary status of the Bulls Masters team with members such as Ashley Noffke and Chris Lynn making an appearance, it was former Wallaby Elton Flatley who drew the crowd’s attention.

“I’m a bit of a ring in and go on tour with the boys occasionally with a lot of days like this where its very community based,” Flatley said.

“I grew up playing cricket as a kid and now I have my own boy involved which is great because it’s the summer game of the nation.

“It’s a bit of fun and about getting out there and having a bat and bowl whilst catching up with the lads.”

Chaired by Ian Healy, the Bulls Masters are in the process of traveling around Queensland and playing in regional centres where young and old are able to play cricket together.

Recently returning from Rockhampton the boys are gearing up for their next match on the Sunshine Coast with star recruits Andrew Symonds and Allan Langer set to join the team.

“It’s great for these guys in regional centres because it gives them a chance to play against Ian Healy which is a big thrill,” Maher said.

“The concept is great and it gives teams a chance to come together and play our national sport of cricket despite their standard which is great.

“It’s about having fun and getting out there and enjoying yourself which is a great thing and hopefully we can continue doing it in the future.”

The new system was born here and filagra this is not something that we would like to see. Caverta although better in some elements but not momentous for us.
