Sunshine Coast Outrigger Canoeist, Chris Ballert was determined to get front row seats and accommodation for the 2020 PPMG outrigger event booking into the Broadwater Park Caravan Park beachside cabin nice and early.
Forced to cancel as COVID wreaked its havoc she rebooked for 2021 only to have it all happen again.
But 2022 shone brightly and Chris secured the accommodation and woke this weekend with a view across the magnificent Broadwater and a bustling, happy throng of more than 700 paddlers readying for the PPMG weekend competition.
