Over 35s softball team Focus are proving that gold is a great conductor after moving into second place to contend for top spot at the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games this afternoon.
The Redcliffe side have made the trip down to the Gold Coast for their second Games brining with them team member Susan Fee’s Irish luck.
“I’m an import and flew in special 10 years ago in preparation,” Fee said.
“But we are always entertaining by probably falling flat on our faces.”
However it is the Guam basketball team that are exploiting the Irish luck by recruiting Fee as their newest and tallest player.
“I joined the basketball team for Guam which is great news because I’m the tallest one on the team and have never felt so tall in my life,” Fee said.
“Leprechauns don’t play basketball but in Guam they do, who would have thought?”
The team is set to play their final match today but teammate Jackie Ferrer says they are looking forward to the return of the Games in 2016.
“The stamina is hard because by the end of the week the body is starting to go,” Ferrer said.
“I think we will come back though once we can move again.”
The new scheme was born here and filagra this is not something that we would like to see. Caverta although better in some elements but not important for us.
