Netballers make the striking move to tenpin bowling

Members of the former Adelaide netball team Checkmate Chicks have made their tenpin bowling debut at this year’s Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games. The 35+ years team of five who have been competing in the Masters netball competition for the past 16 years – and loved it – decided this year they would try a new sport after tenpin was suggested by a friend.


Better than a perfect 300

The Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games have undoubtedly spawned many joyous memories for all participants so far, none more so however, than tenpin bowling participants Mike Power and Susanne Proser. On Friday 31 October, Mr Power proposed to the love of his life, Ms Prosner, as they prepared to participate in this year’s tenpin bowling competition.


Masters strike again in double win

Order of Australia Medal recipients for tenpin bowling are amongst those with ‘energy to spare’ at the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games. Patricia Somerville and Cheryl Munson are remaining active in the league after being recognised for their service to the community and the game.
