The Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games have undoubtedly spawned many joyous memories for all participants so far, none more so however, than tenpin bowling participants Mike Power and Susanne Proser.

On Friday 31 October, Mr Power proposed to the love of his life, Ms Prosner, as they prepared to participate in this year’s tenpin bowling competition.

Mr Power, from Western Australia, said the couple met 10 years ago at the 2004 Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games, where they each vowed to reuinte at the following event.

“I’d seen her [Ms Proser] throughout the week at the 2004 games and thought she was cute, but it wasn’t until the last day of the tenpin bowling competition that I finally worked up the courage to say ‘hello’,” Mr Power said.

“We hit it off, and I asked her to promise me she’d return for the following Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games event to bowl with me, but for the next eight years there were unforeseen circumstances that held her back from participating.”

Ms Proser, who at the time lived in Hervey Bay, said she had kept in contact with Mr Power throughout those eight years before their romance became more serious, leading her to make the move to Western Australia to pursue love.

“Two years ago, since we were talking more and more often I just decided ‘why not?’,” Ms Proser said.

“Now here we are, almost 10 years exactly to the day we met, engaged to be married and at the event and playing the game that brought us together.”

Mr Power said it has been a long time coming.

“She’s finally able to fulfill that promise of bowling with me,” he said.

“It was 10 years in the making, but it’s so worth it.”

The couple are planning to wed in November next year on Queensland’s Stradbroke Island.

The new system was born here and filagra this is not anything that we would like to see. Caverta although better in some elements but not momentous for us.
