The Pan Pacific Masters Games have confirmed Lion, one of Australasia’s largest beverage companies, as the exclusive supplier of beer and cider at the event to be held 2 – 11 November 2018 on the Gold Coast.
The partnership will provide exclusive pourage rights of Lion beer and cider at the Games Village, naming rights sponsorship of three night-time events including the opening and closing ceremonies and an opportunity to sell and promote Lion beverages at sport venues.
Pan Pacific Masters Games CEO Cameron Hart said this agreement with the global beverage industry leader was a great fit for the world’s biggest and best biennial masters games.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Lion whose passion and interest in sporting events and commitment to providing high-quality products and experiences to their customers aligns perfectly with our event,” Mr Hart said.
“More than 14,000 masters-aged athletes from over 30 countries can look forward to celebrating a big day of sport competition by enjoying Lion’s outstanding range of iconic Australian and international beverages with friends and family at the Games Village.”
Lion Queensland Sponsorships and Events Leader David Bruhn said the partnership was an exciting development for the brand and a great opportunity to support an iconic international sporting event.
