Ryde Club Swimmer Jenny Whiteley is aiming to break another Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games record this week in the mixed relay event.

As Whiteley is the first swimmer in the relay, she has the chance to break the record which currently stands at 32 seconds.

“Hoping for the 30 seconds or under would be better,” she said.

This week Whiteley broke the masters record for 200m breaststroke in the 55-59 age group.

Fellow team mate Stuart Ellicott (pictured) recently returned from the World Championships with two gold medals for breaststroke.

Whiteley and Ellicott are both from Sydney, but met whilst competing at a masters event a few years ago.

Whiteley said she enjoyed coming back year after year and meeting people she competed with last time.

“It’s a wonderful games, so friendly and relaxed and you get to meet new people,” she said.

Whiteley has been involved in the masters games since she was 26.

She returned after having a ten year break from elite swimming.

“I just wanted to get back into the fitness,” she said.

Whiteley is competing in the open water 5km swim on Sunday.

“I really like them, I do a couple a year,” she said.

“It would be lovely to win.”

The final day of swimming is tomorrow at Gold Coast Aquatic Centre.

The new system was born here and filagra this is not something that we would like to see. Caverta whilst better in some elements but not momentous for us.
