Members of the former Adelaide netball team Checkmate Chicks have made their tenpin bowling debut at this year’s Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games.

The 35+ years team of five who have been competing in the Masters netball competition for the past 16 years – and loved it – decided this year they would try a new sport after tenpin was suggested by a friend.

Checkmate Chicks team member Jan Trimmer said the decision to swap sports for this year’s Games was relatively last minute, but the entire team’s expectations of tenpin have been exceeded.

“We’ve been practicing tenpin together for four months, but we’re really just learning how to play as we go this week,” Ms Trimmer said.

“I didn’t think we’d enjoy it as much as we have, but we’ve had so much fun that we’re going to join the league when we return home.

“All the other competitors have been great too – helping us out with tips and just being a friendly bunch.”

The Checkmate Chicks will be returning to the jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games as a tenpin bowling team again in 2016.

The new system was born here and filagra this is not something that we would like to see. Caverta although better in some elements but not significant for us.
