A team of Victorian police officers have left their post, to show off their clever footwork in the football competition at the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games on the Gold Coast.
The VicPol team certainly know their way around a masters games, with this being their third Masters Games in addition to many overseas tournaments.
The boys are hoping to bust out of this one with a medal.
Over the past three years the team has travelled to New Zealand, Cambodia, China and all over South East Asia and are hoping their international experience will lead them to a medal.
The boys have been playing together since 1994 and also compete in a local competition where they often play against each other.
“There is always rivalry once you get out on that park, but at the end of the day we fight on the same team,” Tim explained.
“We have some detectives, some general police and a couple boys from the rail police with us.”
While gold is slipping away from their reach, it doesn’t mean this round is over for these tough boys.
“We love the sport and we are so excited and honoured to represent Victoria Police,” Jason explained.
Whilst taking a break from fighting crime the boys are enjoying the nightly entertainment whilst making sure everyone gets home okay.
Let’s hope these brothers in blue can lock up these next few wins and come home with a medal.
The new system was born here and filagra this is not something that we would like to see. Caverta whilst better in some elements but not significant for us.
