Order of Australia Medal recipients for tenpin bowling are amongst those with ‘energy to spare’ at the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games.
Patricia Somerville and Cheryl Munson are remaining active in the league after being recognised for their service to the community and the game.
“It just shows our commitment to the sport,” Cheryl said.
“We’re the only two in the whole sport and we’re together in the same room for the games.”
Patricia received accolades for her volunteer service to the community and to junior tenpin bowling in the Australian Capital Territory in 1994.
“I was a sports trainer and did a lot of work for the club,” says Patricia.
“We’re the only sport to compete against an opponent through a machine and it’s great because there are no age limits associated with it.”
Cheryl received recognition in 2006 following her service as a coach and competitor.
The new system was born here and filagra this is not something that we would like to see. Caverta although better in some elements but not momentous for us.
