Join the Games

Tee off in style with Golf at the Pan Pacific Masters Games, where world-class courses meet stunning coastal scenery.

From challenging championship layouts to relaxed resort fairways, Golf combines precision, patience, and strategy on every hole. Whether it’s a long drive down the fairway, a delicate chip onto the green, or the final putt for par, each shot is a new test of skill.

With the Gold Coast’s perfect weather and iconic backdrops, Golf offers a unique blend of competition and relaxation in one of Australia’s premier sporting destinations.

Competition Rules

2 Person Ambrose

  • On all holes both players tee off
    – The best tee shot is chosen to play on from, with both players then hitting a shot from within ONE CLUB length of the chosen balls location, no nearer the hole. The best shot is again chosen to go to and play on from until players are on the green. *Note that players cannot use the “one club length” measurement to move from out of a penalty area (bunker, water hazard, staked area, etc) or to move onto the green*
  • Once on the green both players putt from within ONE CARD width (15cm) of the chosen balls location, again no nearer the hole. This repeats until the ball is holed out.
  • Team handicaps are calculated as 1/4 of the pair’s combined handicaps – eg) Player 1 is a 10 and Player 2 is a 14, so 10+14=24, divided by 4 = 6 as Team Handicap
  • Players MUST use a minimum of 6 tee shots each during the round

Stableford

Points are given on each hole based on your score compared to par:

  • Albatross (3 under par): 5 points
  • Eagle (2 under par): 4 points
  • Birdie (1 under par): 3 points
  • Par (Even par): 2 points
  • Bogey (1 over par): 1 point
  • Double Bogey or worse (2+ over par): 0 points

Handicaps and Net Scores

  • Strokes are given on the hardest holes first, based on the hole’s stroke index on the scorecard.
  • For example, if you get a handicap stroke on a Par 4 and you score a 5, your net score is 4 (a par), giving you 2 points.
