Personal Accident Insurance
Your Pan Pacific Masters Games entry includes group Personal Accident insurance at no additional cost, providing limited cover for certain accidental injuries while participating in authorised Games activities. As this is not comprehensive insurance, you may wish to consider whether you need additional personal cover.
If you are injured during the Games, seek assistance from the event medical team or call Triple Zero (000) in an emergency, and keep any medical reports, receipts and invoices.
Personal Accident Insurance FAQ's
As part of your Pan Pacific Masters Games event entry, all participants are automatically included in a group Personal Accident insurance policy at no additional cost.
This cover applies only while you are participating in activities authorised by the event organiser, including direct travel to and from the event (without deviation).
The policy provides limited financial benefits in the event of an accidental injury covered under the policy, including:
- Accidental death or permanent disability (up to $25,000); and
- Fixed benefits for certain injuries such as fractures, dental damage, and limited non-Medicare medical expenses (subject to caps).
Important limitations:
- This is a limited benefit policy only and is not comprehensive insurance
- It does not include income protection or loss of earnings
- It does not cover all medical or rehabilitation costs
- It applies only to accidental injuries as defined in the policy
- Participants should consider whether they require their own private health, life or income protection insurance for broader coverage.
