Single Lift or Three Lift Available (Unequipped & Equipped categories)

Kettlebell

  • Pentathlon (one or two bells)
  • Military events (12 mins multi-change) – snatch
  • Military events (12 mins multi-change) – jerk
  • One arm long cycle
  • Half snatch
  • 30 minutes half marathon (one or two bells)
  • IKMF Games (10mins 1bell, multiple hand change, and 2 bells)

(You may enter a maximum of three [3] events)

Fees

Each competitor is required to pay the Games Fee once and then the Sport Fee for each sport in which they register.

Sport Fee: 

Powerlifting

  • Single Lift – $44 per person (Squat Only, Bench Press Only or Deadlift Only)
  • Three Lift – $66 per person

Kettlebell

  • $44 per person, per event (max three events)

(please note, non members will be charged an additional $10 for an APU Event Membership)

Games Fee:

    Saver $145 (1 June – 31 August 2024)
    Standard $155 (from 1 September 2024)

Gold Coast Recreation Precinct

The Gold Coast Recreation Precinct is situated between the southern bank of Tallebudgera Creek and North Palm Beach on the Gold Coast. Established in 1967, it holds the distinction of being the first government-owned and operated outdoor or environmental education centre in Queensland. This picturesque centre offers a range of amenities and activities. The Gold Coast Recreation Precinct can host a variety of  major events and sporting events including tournaments, competitions, functions and corporate meetings.

Additional Information
  • Participants must have an APU Membership OR APU Event Membership (i.e. Membership for event only. It is AUD $10. Register via Membership (powerlifting.org.au)
  • Powerlifting Three-lift Competition: The sum of the highest successful attempts made in the following order: squat, bench press, deadlift.
  • Powerlifting Single Event Competition: Squat Only or Bench Press Only or Deadlift Only.
Competition Rules
  • The Powerlifting rules of performance and causes for failure will be based on the World Drug Free Powerlifting Federation (WDFPF) Technical Rules.
  • No restrictions on Brands of Costumes and Personal Equipment. However, must comply with the specifications and/or requirements in the WDFPF rulebook.
  • Unequipped & Equipped.
    • Unequipped means no knee sleeves.
    • Equipped includes the use of knee sleeves or wraps, suits.
  • The Kettlebell competition will be conducted under IKMF rules, regulations and rankings.
