  • Age is determined as of Thursday 31st December 2026
  • Minimum age for competition is 30 Years

  • 72 Arrow Rounds for the appropriate age/gender/bow types. e.g. WA70/720, WA60/720, WA50/720, WABB50/720, AA50/720, AA40/720, VI30/720
  • 90 Arrow Rounds for the appropriate age/gender/bow types. e.g. WA60/900 (Canberra), Short Canberra, Junior Canberra, Mini Canberra (VI)

No equipment inspection on Day 2 unless a Competitor intends to use equipment that was not inspected on Day 1.

Competition Information

  • This is a World Archery registered event.
  • Crossbow is not permitted.
  • Competitors may only shoot one Bow Type and one Round of 90 arrows and one Round of 72 arrows.
  • All arrows will be shot with no breaks for lunch on each day.
  • Placings will be determined by the competitors’ daily totals and accumulated score for both days.
  • You will be unable to shoot practice before you have your equipment inspected.
  • The club does not provide food, however there are takeaway shops within 500m of the venue.
  • The club does have portable water. We do however strongly recommend that you bring your own water.
  • The club does have limited cold canned & bottled beverages, chocolates, & ice creams for sale.
  • There is ample off-street parking available on site.
  • Please note that if you are not an Archery Australia Member a temporary member form must be completed prior to the event. (click here)
  • The competition is presented by Centenary Archers Club and sanctioned by South Queensland Archery Society, Archery Queensland, and Archery Australia.

Using bow and arrows, competitors line up to hit targets from varying distances, combining focus, control, and consistency. Every shot is a balance of strength and concentration, with points awarded for accuracy right to the bullseye.
