Age Requirements

Minimum age for competition is 30 years
Age is determined as at 31 December 2026 by the youngest player in the team

Mixed – W55+/M60+

Sport Fees

$130 per player (1st team)
$65 per player (2nd team)

Schedule

Gold Coast Hockey Centre will be the main venue for Competition.
Gold Coast Performance Centre may be used for matches if the draw requires.

Competition Information

Match Format
• 5-minute warm-up prior to each match
• Matches will be played in 10-minute quarters
• 2-minute breaks between quarters
• 5-minute half-time
• Teams must vacate the dugouts promptly at the end of their match to allow the next teams to enter

Umpiring Requirements (Mandatory)
• All teams are required to supply an accredited umpire
• Umpires must wear an approved umpiring uniform
• Failure to attend an allocated umpiring appointment may result in a monetary fine
• Umpire allocations will be published 3 days from commencement of event and coordinated through the Umpire Coordinator

Game Card Requirement
• Teams must complete a game card before each match

Additional Information
• Team managers must enter and pay for a minimum of 5 players to create a team and for your team to appear on the team list.
• All games will be recorded in Altius
• LiveStream will be available for games held at GCHC
• If your team is unable to source an umpire, please contact Kendra Murphy and GCHA may be able to assist with sourcing a local umpire.
• If you would like to play but do not have a team, please use our Sports Bulletin Board to advertise your availability or search for a team looking for players.
• Alternatively, if your team is short players please use the Sports Bulletin Board to advertise for players or look for available individuals.
