Canberra

  • 90 arrows on 122cm face (30 each at 60, 50, 40m)
  • Bow Type: Freestyle Compound or Freestyle Recurve

Short Canberra

  • 90 arrows on 122 cm face (30 each at 50, 40, 30m)
  • Bow Type: Longbow, Barebow Recurve or Barebow Compound

Sunday 13 November 2022 (Round 2)

WA 50/720

  • 72 arrows at 50m on a 6-ring 80cm face
  • Bow Type: Freestyle Compound

WA 60/720

  • 72 arrows at 60m on a 122cm face
  • Bow Type: Freestyle Recurve

AA 50/720

  • 72 arrows at 50m on a 122cm face
  • Bow Type: Longbow, Barebow Recurve or Barebow Compound
Fees

Sport Fee: $60 per person

Games Fee: 

  • Competitor:
    Early bird $125 (until 11:59pm AEST 31 August 2022)
    Standard $145 (from 1 September 2022)

Payment processing fee: 1.4% (incl GST)
Account2Account (select Australian banks – no fee)

Each competitor is required to pay the Games Fee once and then the Sport Fee for each sport in which they register.

The Centenary Archers Club is located in the beautiful western suburbs of Brisbane. The club is affiliated with Archery Australia and has been facilitating the sport in the local area for three decades.

Schedule

Saturday 12 November 2022 (Round 1)

8:30am: Equipment inspection (available at the Judges’ tent from 8:30am.  Please remember to take your Competitor Number with you)

9:00am – 9:30am: Official practice

9:30am: Competition shooting & Scoring commence

5:00pm: Competition concludes (if two flights) – 1:00pm if one flight

If Flights are utilised, the second Flight will have the following times:

12:30pm: Equipment inspection

1:00pm: Official practice

1:30pm: Competition shooting & Scoring commences

Times may vary depending upon the previous flight

Sunday 13 November 2022 (Round 2)

9:00am – 9:30am: Official practice

No equipment inspection on Day 2 unless a Competitor intends to use equipment that was not inspected on Day 1.

Additional Information
  • This is not a World Archery registered event.
  • Crossbow is not permitted.
  • Competitors may only shoot one Bow Type and one Round of 90 arrows and one Round of 72 arrows.
  • All arrows will be shot with no breaks for lunch on each day.
  • Depending on numbers the field may be split into Flights or shot as AB / CD.
  • Competitors will be advised after close of entries and prior to the event if Flights are to be used and in which Flight the archer will shoot.
  • Placings will be determined by the competitors’ accumulated score for both days.
  • You will be unable to shoot practice before you have your equipment inspected.
  • The club does not provide food, however there are takeaway shops within 500m of the venue.
  • The club does have portable water however we strongly recommend that you bring your own water.
  • There is ample off-street parking available on site.
  • Please note that if you are not an Archery Australia Member a temporary member form must be completed prior to the event (click here).
  • The competition is presented by Centenary Archers Club and sanctioned by Archery Queensland.
