Gold Coast Redbacks indoor netball player Gabby Kerr, 34, has her own cheer squad at the 2012 Pan Pacific Masters Games.

Her daughters, Summer, 2, and Reese, 5, have been ever-present at this week’s matches, proudly decked out in Redbacks uniforms as their mum competes in the 30+ women’s division at her first Masters competition.

And Kerr says she already sees a day when Summer and Reese are wearing a netball uniform for real.

“I’d definitely love to get my girls into netball,” said Kerr, who has been playing the sport for 15 years.

“I think it’s good, it keeps you fit and healthy,” she said, before issuing a slight caution on the sport’s potential dangers.

“It can also be bad for your body – you get lots of injuries with your knees and ankles. I don’t think you’d come across one player (here) without something wrapped up.”

Kerr said she is impressed with her first Pan Pacific Masters Games and said she has made great friends playing the sport.

“I absolutely love the Games so far – well maybe only because we’re winning,” she laughed.

Indoor netball competition continues from 8:00am – 5:00pm daily until Saturday at the Parklands Indoor Sports Centre in Parklands Drive at Southport.

The new system was born here and filagra this is not anything that we would like to see. Caverta although better in some elements but not important for us.
