When will the next Pan Pacific Masters Games be?

The 2022 Pan Pacific Masters Games will take place on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia from Friday 4 to Sunday 13 November 2022.

A sport schedule will be available in February 2022.

When do entries open?

Entries open on Tuesday 1st March 2022 at 9:00am AEST.

If I have a rolled over my entry from 2021 – when will I receive confirmation of my 2022 Entry?

Confirmation of your entry will be sent to your email on Tuesday 1st March, once entries open.

If you have any changes you would like to make to your entry, you will be able to complete these via the Change Details portal on this date and throughout the registration period.

Our team has rolled over from 2021 – how can I update details?

All Team Managers will be contacted prior to entries opening and will be given the opportunity to update any details required (team name, division etc). Logins from 2021 will remain active.

Do I have to qualify to compete in the Pan Pacific Masters Games or be of a particular standard?

There are no qualifying times or standards to compete. If you love your sport then these games are for you! The only criteria to compete is meeting the minimum age requirement for your sport.

Can I come from overseas to compete?

Yes absolutely, as long as you meet the age criteria for your sport and Australian/Queensland government traveller entry requirements, we welcome participants from all over the world!

What are the entry fees?

All competitors are required to pay a Games Fee and a Sport Fee. The Games Fee is paid once per competitor and then a Sport Fee is applicable for each sport you choose to play.

All Non-Playing Officials (e.g. team coaches, managers, scorers etc you wish to link to your team/crew) and Supporters are required to pay one entry fee and are not required to pay a sport fee.

All Entry and Sport Fees will be available in 2022.

What happens if the event is cancelled or entries are restricted due to COVID-19?

Should an entrant have COVID-19 like symptoms, have COVID-19 or be a close contact of a COVID-19 case, we encourage them to be responsible by staying away from the event. If they are affected in these circumstances or a government health order prevents them from attending, PPMG will refund fees paid less a $20 processing fee if they advise management by 11:59pm Sunday 13 November 2022. To process a refund in this situation please email info@mastersgames.com.au together with evidence of a COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of your planned event.

If the PPMG22 is cancelled, or entries restricted, due to COVID-19 or restrictions placed by government preventing the staging of the PPMG22, we will refund fees paid less a $20 processing fee.

The government and health directives regarding COVID-19 are constantly evolving. The event may update the terms and conditions relating to COVID-19 in response to changed government or health directives.

Can I play more than one sport?

Yes absolutely. Please just ensure that you check the sport schedule prior to registering for each sport dates and times to ensure there are no clashes.

I would like to enter a team sport but don’t have a team – can I still play?

Please utilise our Sport Bulletin Board to advertise your availability and search for teams looking for players.

Some sports also have a ‘Player Draft’ option where you can enter and pay for your chosen sport and the Sport Convenor will place you with a team.

The Sports Bulletin Board will be available for your use once entries open on 1st March 2022.

Our team is short on players – can you help us to find some extra players?

Please utilise our Sport Bulletin Board to advertise your availability and search for individuals looking for a team to play with.

Do I have to be a registered member of a sporting club to participate in the Pan Pacific Masters Games?

No. A small number sports may require you to become a member of the national, state, and/or affiliated body or purchase an event membership for insurance purposes.
