This European beach volleyball union is ‘Still Walking’ and while they can walk, they will play.

Alwyn ‘Whitey’ White and Romano ‘Snowman’ Fracassini have come over from Western Australia to give our local guys a run for their medals.

“We finished on top of our division,” Alwyn explained.

“So we play the top of the next division and the winner –hint, us – plays against the winner of the next lot for gold and silver.”

This competitive duo named ‘Still Walking’ are working doubly hard while they’re here, having already played indoor volleyball.

Romano revealed, “We’ve already won silver and now we are playing beach volleyball.

“We’re proud of still walking.”

“We’re just full of injuries,” added Alwyn as he began to tape his knee.

This is their first year playing the Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games but mistake them as amateurs at your own risk.

Alwyn told us that while they call Australia home, he is originally from Mauritius and Romano is from Italy.

“I’ve played in Masters in Italy, Alice Springs and throughout Australasia,” Alwyn explained.

“Just Italy,” says Romano, “with seven years playing together.”

The goal for these games was to get fitter and perform decently.

Clearly they’ve attracted attention as their next rival was sizing them up.

“They’re pretty good I watched them play yesterday,” he conceded, before adding, “It just comes down to who plays best.”

The new system was born here and filagra this is not something that we would like to see. Caverta whilst better in some elements but not significant for us.
